This website (npkexpert.com) is operated by Fertilizer Group AS, a joint stock company registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Latvia under registration number 42103079658 (VAT number LV42103079658), legal address Kuģinieku iela 5, Liepāja, LV-3401, Latvia (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What personal data we process

• Enquiries via contact and quote forms: your name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, the product you are interested in and the content of your message.
• E-mail correspondence: the data you provide when you write to us directly.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, our hosting server automatically records your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page and your browser type in server logs.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not create user profiles.

3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and take steps prior to entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• To communicate with business partners and their representatives — our legitimate interest in conducting business, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• To ensure the security and proper operation of the website and to protect it against misuse (server logs, spam protection) — our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• To comply with legal obligations, for example accounting and tax requirements, where an enquiry leads to a contract — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Who receives your data

Your data is accessible only to our employees who need it to handle your enquiry. We use carefully selected service providers acting on our behalf as data processors, in particular our website and e-mail hosting provider located in the European Union. We may share your data with group companies or partners only where this is necessary to answer your request (for example, to prepare a delivery offer). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Union / European Economic Area. If this becomes necessary in the future, we will ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V GDPR.

6. Third-party content

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). When a page is opened, your browser connects to Google’s servers and your IP address is transmitted to Google. The website may also contain links to our profiles on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and embedded maps or videos; the respective providers process data according to their own privacy policies only when you follow such a link or play such content.

7. How long we keep your data

• Enquiries and related correspondence: up to 3 years after our last communication, unless a contract is concluded.
• Data related to concluded contracts: for the period required by applicable law (in Latvia, accounting documents are generally kept for 5 years).
• Server logs: for a limited period, after which they are deleted automatically by our hosting provider.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to data portability. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@fg-as.com. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv) — or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access control, regular security checks and monitoring.
